MARK CREW SCORES #3 ALBUM WITH THE WOMBATS

The Wombats scored a #3 album with ‘Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life’ this week, the highest new entry from a pool including Franz Ferdinand, MIST, and Fredo. The second radio single from the album, Cheetah Tongue, is currently on the B list at Radio 1, following Lemon To A Knife Fight, which was also B list at Radio 1.

The album was recorded and produced at Mark’s new studio complex, One Eyed Jack’s, in south London, with Catherine Marks co-producing.

This is the second album Mark has produced for The Wombats, the first being Glitterbug, which included the hits ‘Greek Tradegy’ and ‘Give Me A Try’.

TAYÁ RELEASES NEW TRACK 'SKIN'

Tayá has today released her new single 'Skin' feat. Lotto Boyzz

'Skin' was produced by Alan Sampson who also co-wrote the track with Tayá, Anita Blay and Lotto Boyzz.

BILLON REMIXES ARLISSA & JONAS BLUE'S 'HEARTS AIN'T GONNA LIE'

Billon has delivered a stomping remix of the Arlissa and Jonas Blue track "Hearts Ain't Gonna Lie".  The track received its first play from Greg James on Radio 1 a couple of weeks ago and is released today. Check it out HERE.

CHEETAH TONGUE BY THE WOMBATS IS ANNIE'S HOTTEST RECORD

Annie Mac premiered the latest track to be taken from The Wombats forthcoming album. Titled Cheetah Tongue, it was produced by Mark at his own studio, BLP Studios, in South London.

Premiered on Wonderland Magazine, Azusena released her new track today. 

Included on New Music Friday on Spotify, it was co-written and produced by James Earp.

BASTILLE 'WORLD GONE MAD' AT U.S. RADIO

Produced by Mark Crew, Bastille's latest single 'World Gone Mad', which features on the soundtrack for upcoming Netflix movie Bright, which will star Will Smith, is currently the #1 most added track at Alternative Radio.  

Bright will premiere on the streaming service on 22 December.

RATIONALE JOINS RAG'N'BONE MAN ON UK TOUR

Following a sold out show at Mercury Lounge in New York City and a stunning performance on Late Night With Stephen Colbert earlier this month, Rationale is currently supporting Best Laid Plans Records label mate Rag'n'Bone Man on his UK tour. 

The last show takes place in Brighton tonight at the Brighton Centre. Tickets are sold out. 

LEWIS CAPALDI 'BRUISES' HITS 30M STREAMS

Lewis Capaldi's 'Bruises' hit 30 million streams on Spotify today.

James and Lewis co-wrote the song, and James produced it opting for a stripped back, intimate feel.

Rationale's long anticipated self titled debut album is released today. The 12 track set includes new tracks such as 'Into The Blue', 'Oil and Water' and current Radio 1 playlisted 'Loving Life'.  Fan favourites such as 'Re.Up', 'Fast Lane', 'Prodigal Son' and 'Fuel To The Fire' are also included. 

The album release precedes an eight-date UK tour as well as a special U.S. show at Mercury Lounge in New York City on November 8th.

RATIONALE'S 'LOVING LIFE' ADDED TO BBC RADIO 1 PLAYLIST

Having received praise and early support for the track from the likes of Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart and Clara Amfo amongst others, 'Loving Life' has now been added to BBC Radio 1's playlist.

Rationale's long anticipated self titled debut album will be released on 6th October.

RATIONALE SHARES NEW TRACK 'INTO THE BLUE'

Ahead of the release of his forthcoming debut album (out 6th Oct), Rationale shares new track 'Into The Blue.'

The track was written by Tinashé Fazakerley (Rationale), Mark Crew, Daniel ‘Braque' Priddy, Daniel Smith and Emily Warren. It was co-produced by Mark Crew, Braque and Rationale.

RATIONALE SIGNS WITH WARNER CHAPPELL

Ahead of the release of his highly anticipated debut album (October 6th), Rationale (Tinashé Fazakerley) has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Warner Chappell. In addition to writing and producing his own music, Rationale has also written cuts for Rag'n'Bone Man, Katy Perry and Nause in recent months. 

"I know a lot of writers and artists singed to Warner Chappell. If you ask any one of them, they'll tell you that their team is nothing short of brilliant. They work incredibly hard and there's a real family atmosphere that I love. So, when the opportunity arose to sign and work with Paul Smith again, it was a real no brainer for me!"
